Awesome sushis. Quite a lot of 'fusion cuisine' inspiration. Friendly staff. Only downside is having to pay cash.

In my top 3 sushi places in Montreal! Really recommend it, not your typical sushi restaurant. The chefs degustation menu is fantastic! Don't forget to bring cash they dont take any type of cars but there's an ATM in the restaurant.

Hole in the wall type resto - small seating, cozy environment and amazing food! The chef/owner is always behind the counter orchestrating everything! He has his eye on every table ensuring everyone is having a pleasant time.I love this restaurant because he has his own creations and he serves them well. Presentation is beautiful. Seating is a bit cramped, but it adds to the experience. This is a resto you should take your friends or relatives that are coming out of town to. Especially if they like sushi. It was surely impress.Note: my partner doesn’t eat fish at all. There was one filet mignon item on the menu and it got his seal of approval 🙂 i guess that says alot! Best sushi with very artistic presentation. And love the decor.

Small intimate funky restaurant. Even though the tables are close together the acoustics are great. Fantastic sushi. Top quality. Lovely service and fast without any pressure. Reservations are a must.

As someone who has been to this place in the past on more than one occasion this last time left me disappointed. As always service was excellent, ingredients used absolutely fresh, however about half the items from an assortment of about 12 items ordered had a bitter taste to them , but again not for being not fresh.Also in the afternoon if your back is not to the window the sun is in your eyes as they have no shades.

Really interesting menu! The sushi variety is good and they also have other tempting dishes. Food came out really quick, the service was perfect as well.

A Montreal classic and simply the best sushi

The sushi is unique and offers a modern take on the Japanese classic. We enjoyed many different rolls as well as the sashimi tuna. The quality of the rolls was top notch. The biggest complaint about this place was that there was absolutely no attention to service. Waiters would drop off your dish abruptly, forget to come back to take your next order, forget items you've ordered, etc. There's absolutely no ambiance you'd find in many other sushi restaurants.

The sushi is excellent, in the true sense of the word. Great place for a date, or catching up with a friend. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. 6 stars out of 5.

Best sushis i've tasted in Montreal, and god knows i've tasted a lot of them. The place has never changed since more then 10 years and it's still the same high quality, no surimi/goberge crap in here, only true fresh fish and perfectly cooked rice. I highly recomment the lobster salad !

This is one of the best sushi restaurants I have been to and has excellent value for the quality. The restaurant has really unique offerings and a funky decor that make it fun to visit. The sushi pizza was particularly delicious and unique. I would definitely come back again.

A place to visit if you love sushi. A different concept with an original decor. The service is quick. The space is a bit small but the decor compensates it. Everything is fresh and rich in flavor. Try the 5 different services if you want to try a bit of everything, you won't be disappointed.
